Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and producer, Nelly Furtado, is now on a tight promo schedule supporting the upcoming worldwide release of her album “Mi Plan” (Sept 15th, 2009). In just a few weeks, Nelly’s fans will get to know all of the surprises included in this record.

Nelly Furtado is known for experimenting with different instruments, sounds, genres, vocal styles and languages and it has been this diversity which has influenced her wide-ranging musical taste and her interest in different cultures.

On “Mi Plan”, she invited several special guests to join her on some of the songs: Alejandro Fernández, Josh Groban, Juan Luis Guerra, Julieta Venegas, La Mala Rodríguez, Buika, and Alex Cuba, who have special features in the album, adding an exceptional and unique touch.

“Sueños”, composed by Nelly Furtado, James Bryan, and Alex Cuba, was the song chosen for the Mexican superstar ALEJANDRO FERNÁNDEZ, who featured his powerful voice and distinct sound. When the song was recorded at Miami’s world famous, The Hit Factory Studio, the evening was filled with sheer talent and a melting pot of musical styles.

The result was amazing, and “Sueños” was born in a very organic manner. The studio session not only left us with an amazing song, but also an important musical moment in the artistic history of Nelly and Alejandro.
